Pupils from Loreto Convent School were among pupils from local schools who were invited to attend the British Science Museum’s (BSM) workshop. For the fifth year running the BSM are visiting Gibraltar, conducting a series of experiments throughout the week at the Ince’s Hall. The experiments to be carried out will enhance the work done by pupils in Science throughout our schools at Key Stages 1 and 3 of the National Curriculum and have been carefully selected for this purpose.
One of the aims of the BSM is to make their workshops fun and interactive. This was certainly the case when our very own Hannah Cabezutto was invited up onto the stage to take part in an experiment. She’s testing the properties of a shape and how it acts more like a solid when pulled with force and like a liquid when pulled gently.
Jamie Bray Prettejohns was also lucky enough to take part in an experiment, this time he was modelling the properties of a water molecule.
