The Gibraltar Cardiac Association’s Restart A Heart Awareness Day was a huge success on Monday 17th October. The day started with an assembly on CPR and AED’s, where our Upper Primary pupils listened attentively to Emma Woods from Heart Starterz. The pupils asked some very interesting questions as they discovered more about CPR and the use of an AED. During lunchtime the pupils were able to experience and practice CPR chest compressions on an adult and child dummy. The pupils participated in a ‘beat the keeper’ penalty shootout to see who could score goals for the football team their shirt represented.
Thank you to Emma Woods from Heart Starterz Gibraltar for supporting our pupils throughout the day.
