On Thursday 6th February our Loreto’s Boys & Girls football teams competed in an incredibly competitive Inter-school tournament.
Both teams trained hard in preparation and were eager to take on the challenge. The boys started strong, displaying skill and determination throughout the round-robin stage. However, they faced tough opposition in the later rounds, narrowly losing to the eventual tournament winners. Their mature and solid performances were a testament to their hard work and they should be extremely proud.
Our girls made history as the first ever female team to represent Loreto in a football tournament. They began with a hard fought draw and showed immense spirit against more experienced opponents. Despite the challenges, they played with smiles on their faces, showcasing their passion and resilience. A special mention goes to our goalkeeper, Bianca, whose impressive saves kept team morale high!
We couldn’t be prouder of both teams for representing Loreto with passion, resilience, and pride.
Team spirit – Loreto heart!
