Loreto Convent School will be taking part in this year’s ‘Jeans for Genes’ Day on Friday 21st September.
‘Jeans for Genes’ is the national charity raising money for children with genetic disorders, to help fund the care and support they need, and carry out research that could change their futures.
In the UK, one baby in every 25 is born with a genetic disorder. Although individually these disorders can be extremely rare, together they are the biggest killer of children aged 14 and under.
Pupils and staff are invited to wear jeans on Friday 21st September in support of Jeans for Genes. We would like everyone in the school to take part, so please send your child to school on the day wearing jeans and the school polo shirt. Please remember your £1 donation.
