On Wednesday 18th May, Loreto Convent participated in the Inter-School cricket competition, with one team in each of the Year 4&5 and Year 6&7 competitions, consisting of mixed teams of boys and girls. Both teams won all their qualifying games to make it through to the final. Unfortunately the Junior team lost by 6 runs and the Senior by only 4 runs. However, there was also the trophy awarded for the overall Championship school, which Loreto did win. This was due to the fact we were the only school to have both teams in the finals and had accrued the most points based on their final positions in the competition. A fantastic achievement which showed the consistency in the standard of cricket in school and our dominance in the competition.

There were individual awards for Adrian Chumillas Onteniente for best player in our Year 4&5 team and Juan Pablo Linares Mompeon for best player in the Year 6&7 team.
