If your child has to be absent from school for any reason, please let us know by a note to the class teacher or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If the absence is not planned and you cannot contact us, it is important that a note is given to the class teacher when your child returns to school.
As far as possible, doctors’ and dentists’ appointments should be arranged for outside of school hours.
For the sake of safety, please inform us in writing of any change in your child’s usual collection or travel arrangements.
Parents occasionally ask for leave of absence during term time so that their children can be taken on family holidays and other trips. Such absence can disrupt both your child’s education and that of his or her class, and is, therefore, strongly discouraged.
