The first term in the school garden has seen, flower bulbs ,many vegetables and salad seeds planted. With 4qsm of soil donated by EDEN, the pupils are starting to landscape new areas We are supporting the Gibraltar Rotary Club in planting 30 of 5000 purple Crocus bulbs in aid of their campaign for END POLIO NOW. The school is also starting to make plans to work on their ‘Plant to Plate’ initiative. Working with external partners in Gibraltar, including Vicky Bishop Catering, EDEN along with a UK sponsor the club is making their initial plans to transform land to grow vegetables and salads. There will be a second stage in the planning, Loreto is hoping that Mount Alverna will come on board, we can give then give the opportunity for their residents to use the garden and work with alongside our club.
