Loreto is incredibly proud to announce that our Loreto Red Hawks team are the champions of the Inter-School Netball Tournament!
From the first game right until the final whistle, the girls were absolutely unstoppable — scoring 80 goals and conceding only 3 throughout the entire tournament! Their hard work, discipline and dedication in training truly paid off and we couldn’t be prouder.
We would also like to give a special mention to Rania, who was voted Best Player of the Tournament. She was outstanding throughout, showing great skill, composure and leadership.
A huge shout-out to Loreto’s second girls team, Yellow Hawks, who battled fiercely winning two games and drawing one, to finish in a very respectable position in this round robin competition.
And history was made…for the first time ever, there was a boys’ competition in the Netball Inter-School Tournament and our Loreto Blue Hawks finished in an impressive 4th place, after several intense and closely contested matches.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to Federica Holliday and Valentina Oriol Holliday (past pupils), whose sponsorship provided our girls teams with wonderful new netball kits — we are incredibly grateful.
What an incredible day for Loreto Netball! We are so proud of every single player!
