On Tuesday 17th May Loreto Convent School participated in World Athletics Day, where we were represented by athletes from Years 4-7 competing in a total of 32 races. With excellent speed, endurance and determination shown by all the athletes, Loreto won a total of 24 medals; 4 Gold, 10 Silver and 10 Bronze. A fantastic set of results for the smallest school competing in the event. There were also a number of outstanding individual performances that led to three school records being broken and one school record that was equalled. These new records were:
